In each series of paintings I create sequences of a specific form. I want to begin a dialogue with and an open interpretation of the coded system of lines. I collect and use data and information from this system found within the environment and transform this data into paintings. I aim to create a lyrical dynamism in the paintings while keeping the colour scheme muted when exploring the potential of the different sizes of canvases.
My aim is to enable the audience experience an emotional sensation that I feel exists beneath the abstract systematic code. The paintings continually generate new areas of interest that I will explore in my next body of work.Born Germany, 1990
