Born in Devon, I have painted all my life and in the last few years have been fortunate enough to be able to paint on a regular basis.

I paint in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels. Subjects include horses, portaits, landscapes, trees, and flowers, wherever the fancy takes me. My style also varies; my oils tend to be traditional portraiture, but my acrylics are more impressionist bordering on the abstract.

My education did not include art school, and I am mainly self taught although I have attended some professional courses. I am currently Chair of The Swindon Artists Forum and recently retired from private tuition.
