| Ruth lives in Nottingham and works in a tiny studio near the railway station. You will see from her work her love of colours and form. Her paintings are developed from a mixture of photographs and sketches she has made from life, often using acrylic, oils, pastels and charcoal. She returned to painting about four years ago, exhibiting her work recently at The East Midlands Contempoary Art Auction, Queens Medical Centre, Djanogly Summer Open 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008, Derby Open 2011 and The Tarpery Open 2011.
