My formal art education began with four years at the 'Art Academy of El Paso' in Texas USA.

A few years later and back living in England I attended ‘Heatherleys’ in Chelsea where I completed a two year ‘Diploma In Portraiture’ course, immediately after this I did to a Masters Degree at Canterbury Christchurch University, writing my dissertation on ‘The Relevance Of Self Portrait’.

Since completing the MA I have exhibited with many of the London Society’s including;

The Royal Society Of Portrait Painters.

The New English Art Club

National Society of Acrylic Painters(of which I am a member)

The Society Of Wildlife Artists.

The Pastel Society

The Royal Water Colour Society.

The Southwest Academy Exeter.

In addition over the years, a number of one women Exhibitions.

Three art books have been published by Hamlyn & Search Press and also Several Magazine articles.

Currently I run the Wendy Clouse Painting School, from my studio in Shepperton.
