Nottingham Contemporary The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things
The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things

27th Apr - 30th Jun 2013

This spring we will present a major exhibition curated by Turner Prize-winning artist Mark Leckey, Leckey’s largest exhibition to date. The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things brings together an unusual and exciting selection of historical and contemporary works of art – including William Blake, Louise Bourgeois, Martin Creed, and Richard Hamilton – alongside videos, mechanical objects, plans and archaeological artefacts, which he will unite in specially designed environments. It will explore how our relationships with artworks and common objects alike are transformed through newinformation technologies.
